Surviving Breakups - The Best Way To Make Convey . Your Knowledge Of Things

It's the festive season and watching relatives and friends gorge themselves on ice cream and tasty sweets can be painful when you're trying to stay healthy and stick to a rigid nutrition plan. I know as a follower of the paleo diet the hardest thing for me to adjust to was the lack of desserts and sweets for the paleo follower. However there is hope, by replacing regular milk with coconut milk and swapping the ultra heavy chocolate and sugar filling for natural fruits and nuts we can create gorgeous and equally delicious recipes for the paleo diet follower.

This recipe yields 2 pints of ice cream (not ice milk ice cream!) at only 5.5 grams per 1/2 cup serving. Compare that to 21 grams for Ben & Jerry's vanilla ice cream! And it tastes GREAT. Enjoy.

Perhaps you have never thought about ice cream having air in it, but it actually does. That is one of the differences between it and gelato. The latter is a denser consistency because of the slower churning process that is used in the making of it, which in turn allows for less air. Ice cream actually has around 20% more air in it.

This recipe requires 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of grated lemon peel, 1 10-ounce package of frozen strawberries (thawed), 1 can of whipped, heavy cream and two-thirds of a cup of sweetened and condensed coconut milk. Put the strawberries, lemon juice and lemon peel into your Ninja Blender 1100. Blend at high speed for 20 seconds or until it gets smooth. Turn down the speed to low and remove the blender's cover. Add the condensed milk in a regular stream into this mixture. Finally, remove the strawberry mixture by folding it onto whipped cream. To make into hard ice cream, allow it to sit in the freezer for 4 hours.

Soften the ice cream, until it's just soft enough to scoop out easily, then put into prepared pie shell. Smooth out the top. Cover lightly. Freeze until firm, at least two hours or overnight. Remove from freezer 15 minutes before serving. Then garnish with desired toppings (whipped cream, chocolate or caramel sauce, magic shell, crushed cookies, fresh fruit, etc.

After reading reviews online, my decision came down ice cream two different Cuisinart machines, the ICE-21 ($50) and the ICE-50BC ($250). I liked the price and reviews of the ICE-21. The ICE-50BC is a self-cooling machine which is capable of making batch after batch of ice cream without pre-freezing, very tempting... In the end, ice cream fate (and a 20% off coupon) brought me to Bed, Bath and Beyond where the last ICE-20 (the previous model to the ICE-21) was on closeout for only $25 - the very same price as my gelato tab a few days earlier. This was a no-brainer, I bought it!
